NRDS Voluntary Organization has taken varieties of women’s development program for women emancipation in Joypurhat district and adjoining rural areas. During different phases the organization has adopted different programs. At the early stage the Organization has tried to build up women empowerment through providing training in different aspects.

Mission of Organization

Mission of the organization is community development through women empowerment. The organization believes that without education and income generating activities, children and men, socio-economic condition, happiness and development of the family as well as society is not possible.

Objectives

Organizations main objective is the welfare of the margin and Disadvance community. To reduce poverty rate through Awareness buildup and education, training and Income generating activities. Avoid political business, superstitions, free from phantasm and communalism. As the organization came into being 13 years ago, the idea of sustainability was not there in its objective. With the changed perspective of the NGOs, the organization has been trying to earn sustainability through different programs, to attain and render better essential health services, sanitation and income woman empowerment activities among the population of these areas.
